"Resilience is a culture. Not a checklist."
I've spent my career making sure it doesn't.
As Business Resiliency Director for Consumer & Community Banking at JPMorgan Chase, I lead the strategy, programs, and global team responsible for keeping one of the world's largest financial institutions operational when the unexpected happens — cyberattacks, extreme weather, operational failures, and now the emerging risks that AI adoption introduces at scale.
After 20+ years in financial services, I've learned that the difference between organizations that survive disruption and those that don't almost always comes down to culture, communication, and leadership — not technology or policy. And now AI is changing the equation entirely.
That's what I write and speak about.
AI failures don't behave like human failures — they're silent, fast, and systemic. Most business continuity frameworks weren't built for that. This talk gives audiences a new mental model for AI-driven operational risk, introduces the concept of the Vanishing Fallback, and delivers a practical framework for stress-testing organizational assumptions before a crisis does it for them.
Available for keynotes, featured sessions, panels, corporate workshops, and consulting engagements on AI resilience and operational risk. Based in North Texas — available to travel.
